I’m Jared Gipe, founder of Kavoron Automation. I started in my family’s tool-and-die shop, running the CNC machines and whatever else the floor needed. In a tool-and-die shop, close enough meant the mold came back — for more finishing, or for welding and machining if it was out of spec. From there, seven years selling cars and three years in insurance, part of it running my own agency — hundreds of customers, and the homes, trucks, farms and businesses they’d put everything into. All of it was either doing the work or on the other end of a decision somebody had to get right. I run Kavoron the same way: measure first, then work the numbers with you to find what your business is owed.

A lot of the money a home-service business loses, it loses a little at a time in places that are easy to miss. A change order gets done on the job and never makes it onto the invoice, or a crew goes back out on a callback and nobody traces why. On a storm job, sometimes the supplement never gets written. That’s your paperwork, and I never deal with your carrier. The software you already pay for can usually show you some of that. But you’re working long days and wearing all the hats, so digging through the reports keeps getting pushed to next week. No owner likes being left in the dark about where their business is losing profit. I started Kavoron to fix what your software only measures.

Why is Kavoron in Kansas City?

Kavoron is based in Kansas City, and I’m starting here because it’s a growing metro that takes a beating from the weather. We get heavy hail and hard storms, long stretches of high heat in the summer and bitter cold in the winter, and all of it is hard on a house. I saw that from the policy side when I was in insurance, mostly on the phone with customers after a hailstorm came through. A lot of the repair work that follows is paid for by a carrier, so the first owners I want to work with run roofing, restoration, mitigation and plumbing companies, or any other shop that’s waiting on an insurance check. The work itself runs on your numbers, though, so it doesn’t matter where your shop is.

Does Kavoron only work with roofing and restoration companies?

No. That’s where I start, because I spent three years in insurance and I know how those jobs get paid. But a service shop or a project builder loses money in the same five places. The one who owes you is a customer or a builder instead of a carrier. If you’re doing more than $1 million a year with crews in the field, the read works the same way.

Does Kavoron have case studies yet?

Kavoron launched in the fall of 2026, so I don’t have any case studies to show you yet. The first client results get published once each owner approves theirs. My own operation runs on the same systems I’ll build for you. I won’t post results I can’t back up.

How does Kavoron work with owners?

Before you spend a dollar on building anything, we put your baseline down on paper so we both know where the numbers started. Then we fix one thing at a time, and each fix is aimed at a number you already agreed was real. If you keep me on a monthly plan after a build, your people get time with me each month to learn the system I put in. Nothing goes out to one of your customers until a person has looked at it and approved it. Your accounts and your data are yours from day one, and the system is yours once it’s paid for. If we ever stop working together, it all stays with you.
